Day of Encouragement 2009
featuring a concert with Michael Card
Please join us as we celebrate 50 years of ministry! We will be offering over 40 workshops on a variety of topics. The day will close with a celebration concert led by Michael Card. Michael Card is a Dove-award winning singer and songwriter. He has recorded more than 20 albums including # 1 hits such as "El Shaddai" and "Immanuel." See www.michaelcard.com
Consider attending with your entire church council. There are workshops of interest to all! To register a group of people, simply enter the total number of tickets required. The next screen will ask for their individual information.
You may register for a specific workshop - but sign up early as they fill up fast!

RESTAURANTS - There are several fast food restaurants located nearby (less than 4 km). You can pick up supper on your way home! Follow Kitty Murray Lane out of Redeemer campus and travel north to Golf Links Road. Turn right and you will find Ancaster Meadowlands Power Centre. Restaurants include: Jack Astors, Outback, Kelsey's, Tim Hortons, Wendy's, McDonalds, Quiznos and Swiss Chalet.

Via MichelinThis Day of Encouragement is hosted by Diaconal Ministries Canada (DMC) in partnership with the agencies of the Christian Reformed Church. Together we want to provide an opportunity for encouragement, inspiration and training to members of the churches in Ontario.
Diaconal Ministries Canada works with deacons and their partners in transforming communities with the love of Christ. It provides resources for training of deacons, hosts Day(s) of Encouragement, assists deacons to reach out to their community and provides grants to projects that work at community development ministry.
In 2009, we celebrate 50 years of ministry. Michael Card will perform a special concert at 3 pm to highlight this milestone.
